About Chuckanut Brewery
Chuckanut Brewery opened 2008 by Mari and Will Kemper. This brewery was not their first as the two of them have traveled all over helping out different beer projects and breweries. Mari and Will started one of the first craft breweries in the Northwest in 1984, known as Thomas Kemper Brewery. This began their venture into the craft beer world and it has blossomed since.

In 2009, Chuckanut Brewery won Small Brewpub/Brewer of the year, which was their first time entering the national competition. They won it again in 2011 and it confirmed that they have some of the best beers in the nation. Since their opening, they have opened another brewery and taproom in Burlington, expanding their operations South.

Chuckanut Brewery always has the community in mind, as they try to source all of their ingredients from local producers and constantly give back to the community in charitable donations. They also strive to be environmentally friendly and sustainable as it is an important ideology here in Bellingham.
