About Me
Education
Before my college career I was enrolled in the Tahoma School District. I attended Tahoma High School in my final years of grade school. Go Bears! While in high school, I was a member of DECA, which is a business club that hosts competitions each year. I was fortunate enough to make it to the state competition 2 years in a row and made it to the international competition 1 of those years.

After my high school career I decided to attend Green River College for a year to see help me evaluate my options. I made the determination while at Green River that I wanted to attend Western Washington University (WWU) for the remainder of my college career. While at WWU, I immediately began to pursue a degree in Business Management as it is something that I have always had a passion for. I have also opted to expand my business knowledge by getting a minor in Economics. I will be graduating in the Fall of 2019 to complete my college career for now.
What interests me?
In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, getting fresh air. I cannot decide which season, Winter or Summer, is my favorite though as there are activities I like to do during both. In the winter, I enjoy going up to the mountains so I can snowboard or just play in the snow. I cannot stand a cold rain though, if it is going to be cold, it better be snowing! All other seasons of the year I enjoy going hiking or walking near the water. I love being out on the water fishing as well. I have been up to Ketchikan, AK many times and went fishing while up there.

One big thing that I can be recognized for is my love of cars. Ever since I was little, I loved playing with toy cars and looking at nice cars. My first car was actually a Ford F-150, a truck, that was passed down to me when I turned 16. Once it was time to upgrade to something with better gas mileage, I bought a Subaru Legacy GT and that was my first taste of a faster car. Back in March of 2018, I was accepted into the exclusive Subaru Ambassador program. As a Subaru Ambassador, I promote the Subaru brand by chatting with people and handing out free swag items. It is a perfect way for me to get out talking to new people given that I am more of an introvert.
Future career goals
While I am not too sure of what I want to do immediately after graduation, I do know that it needs to be something that will provide me with management experience. I am open to many opportunities and want to explore what industries are out there. After I gain some good management experience as well as some best practices in running a business, I would like to open up a business. Right now it is not totally clear to me what type of business I would want to open, but after working at some different organizations it should help me decide what I like best.
